​"Peace is a natural state, and when the mind is settled, peace exists. So, what causes the mind to become unsettled? Many forms of negative thinking and self-talk, irrational thoughts, worry, fear, obsessive guilt and shame, envy and jealously—simply put, it is our own internal struggle that kidnaps our minds from the awareness of peace. So, the question is not how one finds peace, but instead, how does one reduce struggle. For the last 25 years I have been helping clients increase the awareness of peace in their lives by decreasing the struggle that creates anxiety and stress. I call this The Art of Struggle Reduction."

This workbook contains everything you need to begin enjoying a more peaceful and relaxed lifestyle. The origin, principles, and methods of The Art of Struggle Reduction are presented in an easy to read and understand format. By observing your thoughts, you can identify areas of internal struggle. Then by using a few simple strategies, learn to reduce or release the struggle that is blocking your awareness of present moment peace. This unique approach to anxiety and stress management, provides the foundation for viewing life through a different lens. Imagine the ease of walking straight through an empty room to the other side instead of winding your way through piles of clutter. The heart of struggle reduction is less clutter. The mind that is settled and clear is at peace. ​Struggle reduction sessions are 1 hour in length. One session per week for 4-5 weeks is recommended to become acquainted with the concepts and methods.
